Go See the Charlotte Knights!

Summertime, the season that bring blazing warm weather, an appreciation for sweet tea, your favorite swimming hole in our nearby Lakes, and air conditioning, to name a few. It also means it’s time for some baseball! Go check out our Charlotte Knights at BB&T Ballpark Uptown. Friday night they also have fireworks. So head Uptown, get a great view of our city and enjoy an American pastime.

Culture and Music in Charlotte

Culture and music are in abundance this time of year. Outdoor concerts include “Symphony Pops in the Park” at South Park ($12.00 admission, most concerts on Sundays in June). You can purchase your tickets at Charlottesymphony.org.

For a free midweek music break, head to “Party in the Park” at Romare Bearden Park in Uptown, on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 9pm. Then there’s “Sunset at the Metropolitan”, every week from 6:30 – 9:30pm on Thursday – Sunday, with live music at the Skyline Stage.

The 4th Annual NoDa SummerFest is occurring at The Chop Shop, a three day musical festival running June 12th – June 14th. Come out and celebrate 3 days of food, family fun and more than 40 of your favorite local and regional bands on 3 stages. (nodamusic.com)
