Spring is in the air in the Charlotte area. Days are getting longer, the temperatures are getting warmer and flowers and trees are in bloom. What better time to enjoy some outdoor events going on in our beautiful neighborhoods than by checking out the Spring Events this May in Charlotte?

Below is a list of area events for the month of May:

Midwood Maynia

Home and Garden Tour May 6th from 6-8pm (Candlelight tour) and May 7th from 10am-7pm There will be 8 homes on the tour as well as the Charlotte Country Club and The Light Factory. You can ride bikes between the homes along the route – you can rent a bike with B-Cycle or take advantage of the free Cruise Cart rides between the locations.

Midwood Miles 5k road race – May 7th at 8:30am at Midwood Park, followed by the Children’s Fun Run at 9:15am

Midwood Maynia Pet Parade – May 7th at 10am Bring your furry friends and join in the parade followed by a pet blessing.

Kidswood – May 7th from 11am-2pm in Midwood Park. There will be crafts and activities for younger children.

Fun in the Park – May 7th from noon-7pm. There will be food and beverage vendors as well as live music throughout the day.

Wing Haven
