Located in the Southpark area,  this neighborhood was once a part of a 3,000-acre farm owned by former North Carolina Governor Cameron Morrison.  Directly adjacent to SouthPark Mall is Morrison Boulevard, which connects SouthPark with the Barclay Downs neighborhood. The upscale SouthPark Mall nearby features many high-end designers and boutiques such as Kate Spade, Burberry, Tiffany & Co, Hermès, Kenneth Cole, Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Juicy Couture, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Cole Haan, and many others.
