So 15 days into the month and it’s been a roller coaster of a ride regarding our weather this year.  One day we hit close to 80. Today, however it was in the 20’s this morning, not to mention the wind chill.  Still, it’s hard to complain when family members who still (willing mind you) live in NY and PA. They are posting pictures with close to 2′ of snow, shoveling pathways to their cars. I do not miss Nor’Easters.  I don’t miss it being so cold it hurts to breathe through your nose. Ah, maybe one day they will realize the appeal of the overall temperate climate of the South.

In other random news, folks started celebrating St. Patrick’s Day last weekend, and will continue to celebrate this upcoming weekend when St. Patty’s falls on this Friday.  I guess everyone’s Irish for the holiday.  🙂   Folks headed to the Whitewater Center last weekend for their annual 5k and turning the water bright green.

As for the Charlotte real estate market, we are still seeing a crazy hot market with demand far outweighing supply. This is causing multiple offers at and above asking prices in the popular neighborhoods and in general, the under 300K price point. Click here for details: market update City of Charlotte
